Tell Me No Lies

Profile: I love writing poetry, because it usually gives you an insight into a person. It also makes one more sensitive to the outside world and people's problems, and in turn we learn consideration and sensitivity to our fellowman.  I hope my work will help others to the look at what's important by looking deep inside onesself.

Poetry

Oh Sweet Liar, What have done to me! You promised me your love, Only to toss it away like debri. Your treacherous lips belied, Words to invoke my heart. And tradegy eroded this false love apart. The whispered feelings of love's content. A lie so shallow, I believed in you then. Your faults --- so long, was too much to bare, For I couln't love as much as I dared. This time no lies shall stop me still, I walk with dignity for I've had my fill. The pain surpassed, a time in twice. Now I guard me like red roses With thorns embracing about.
