That Boy on the Train

"It was that boy on the train!"

I was sitting there reading my newspaper when

that red-haired, impish seven-year-old

sauntered down the aisle and sneezed in my face.

I told my mother, "I'm sure that's it,"

when 21 days later I broke out with chicken pox

on my face,arms, legs, buttocks, chest, everywhere.

That boy had more than freckles on his face.
