Upon Dreaming in Fascination of Self

Author: Kristopher Michael James Murphy Clausing

Profile: I am here beside myself looking only through the eyes of this body

Poetry

I only see an illusion of myself Simple actions take much time in execution My eyes grow brightly as if Hidden there was an idea Only they were made that way. My heart races and traces A path that is hard to follow My legs want to run and try My lungs forbid and my body Crumbles to lay in a bed of stone

Doestoyevsky had little to dream Merlin had but little magic Stalin only forbade kindness And Hitler forbade passion Intellectual dreams seem distant From the frosty reality that bites Hard into the hand of forgiveness I seek redemption and I seek Activity only to have my actions Erased from sudden bursts of lightening The neurons and synapses dance Violently never touching of knowing Passion of first glances of soft Tongues plunging into seas of Warm saliva flowing and bubbling As in a primordial soup of life
