ANTIFREEZE

I'm going nowhere because there is nowhere to go

A bomb has gone off and it kicked up all the snow

My pocket French talk has seemed to start to bore

Like jelly beans and little girls of Sorrowful Days of Yore

Frozen crack babies though I'm hallucinating again

Hollow, craven images stand pouring from my pen

And swirling ghosts of yesteryear I only aim to please

My feet are trapped in layers of ice

I need antifreeze
