After January, throughout the year 2000, we suggest and will actively support the creation of Osho Tribute 2000 events all over the world - country by country, city by city, however feels appropriate for Osho friends who live and work worldwide. Everyone can choose their own time, their own way. We envisage cultural events, book releases, book exhibitions, art exhibitions, concerts, sannyasin festivals, meditation events, and so on.
There are people all over the world who are touched by Osho’s vision and want to help in His work. Osho Tribute 2000 provides an opportunity also for non-sannyasin friends of Osho who are established in their own fields, to express their appreciation and respect towards Osho and His vision in a way that fits their lives.
And for sannyasins and friends it is of course an opportunity to create big celebrations, to work together in harmony and creative chaos. We are all individuals, unique, alone - our connection with Osho individual and direct - and this individual connection creates a “certain love” towards each other. Osho Tribute 2000 is a perfect vehicle in which to share that love...and in the process to invite a conscious jump in energy and transformation.
The Festival in Pune begins on December 11, 1999, Osho’s birthday, and extends through January 19, 2000 - the tenth anniversary of Osho’s leaving the body.
You can attend the full festival or any number of days. Hotel bookings, flights, group tours, and country by country advance registration are being facilitated for festival participants.
The multi-dimensional festival program includes the full range of Osho meditations and meditative therapies, plus a wide variety of day-time acitivities: groups, classes, sessions and trainings from the Osho Multiversity; creativity workshops, dance, music, Zen sports and fitness; cultural events, shows, exhibitions and concerts. Professionals who have integrated Osho’s vision into their work, plus other Friends of Osho, will contribute to the program - artists, writers, poets, musicians, therapists and meditation leaders.
