A Different Drum
Let me lead the dance,
while teaching others to regulate their steps
to the measure of the music!
Eventually each will recognize the rhythm
and respond, in time; knowing that
we all "travel to the beat of a different drum".
The current flows,
ideas initiating action, and action
propelling the evolution of creativity;
continuing only so long as each of us
listens to the drummer which is ours alone!
