Poetry

An Opening to my Heart (accepting Jesus Christ in my heart)

he's standing by my door

knowing what's in my heart

knocking so quietly

that I sometimes notice

calling my name so softly

that I sometimes hear

saying, "Open and let me in."

backing away

stubbornly holding on

to my grudge

my anger turned uglier

I end up opening the door

he threw away the key

and built me a window
